The Big Cross Frozen Tundra takes place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Big Cross - Cross Country Course, 3700 Rd 36, Pasco, WA. Course and logistics
The course uses woodchip, dirt and gravel trails and requires one circuit for the 2.5-mile event and two circuits for the 5-mile event. The route includes four hill climbs and descents, additional smaller hills, and some flat sections. Packet pickup is at a check-in tent near the start line on race morning; bibs are organized by distance and last name and must be worn visibly on the front chest. Spectators must remain in designated areas and avoid crossing the race path. Volunteers are needed for set-up, course monitoring and start/finish duties.
