Walla Walla 6 Hour

Event Overview

The Walla Walla 6 Hour is a women only running event held at Bennington Lake in Washington. The race is designed to celebrate the trail running community and promote the Trail Sisters platform. Participation is limited to 130 runners, and registration typically opens in November.

Course Information

The race takes place on the Whitetail Trail, which consists of a 5 mile outer loop around the lake. The terrain is primarily double track trail with some single track sections. Each loop includes approximately 370 feet of elevation gain. Participants aim to complete as many loops as possible within the 6 hour time limit.

Logistics and Support

An aid station is provided for runners, offering standard race food such as potato chips, gels, gummies, and peanut butter and pickle wraps. To maintain safety and follow regulations, dogs and personal pacers are not permitted on the course with runners. Spectators are allowed but are asked to limit vehicles to one per runner due to restricted parking at the site.

Recognition and Swag

All participants receive event-branded swag and a raffle ticket for various prizes. Runners who continue for the full duration of the event receive a specialized trucker hat. A gift basket is awarded to the individual who completes the highest number of loops within the 6 hour period.
