Trail Running calendar near Snowdon Massif 2026-2027

A November fell race in Sunnyhurst Woods, Darwen, featuring a roughly 6 km course with 305 m of climb via Darwen Tower and the moors. Entry is via Si Entries, minimum age 14, with FRA and non member fees.

Trail races of 21k and 42k through Delamere Forest, passing Blakemere Moss, the Sandstone Trail and Old Pale Hill. The course has kilometre markers, marshals, an event village and finish-line food and freebies.

Loggerheads Half Marathon at Loggerheads Country Park is a three lap 7 km loop for solo runners and three person relay teams, set on a scenic but testing trail with some steep sections. Feed stations, marshals and medals for finishers.

A one-lap *10 km* trail through Tatton Park on 6 December 2026, featuring varied surfaces, chip timing and a finisher medal; prizes for top finishers and a fun fancy dress atmosphere, plus a family run raising funds for MOVE charity.

Sea 2 Summit Offa's Dyke is a scenic but tough trail run along the National Trail from Prestatyn seafront to hilltop finishes. Choose the half marathon, full marathon or the 55.5 km ultra finishing at Horseshoe Pass on 6 December 2026.

Run the Trail by Torchlight in Llangollen: an 8 km fell race over scenic starlit moor with about 244 m ascent. Bring a head torch and enjoy a lively night race open to runners aged 16 and over.

A festive four mile fancy dress run around Horwich with chip timing, a Christmas themed medal and prizes for Best Fancy Dress. The family organised event features a fully marshalled route and a community focused atmosphere.

The Trails and Ales New Years Eve Fell Race will take place in Rivington on Thursday 31 December 2026. You can run 7 miles.

Chester Ultra 50 Mile 2027 is a 50 mile ultramarathon scheduled for 27 and 28 February 2027. The event is organised by GB ULTRAS LTD and entries became available from 31 January 2026.

A 100 mile ultra in Great Britain held on 25 and 26 September 2027, organised by GB ULTRAS LTD. Registration is indicated from 31 January 2026.
