Thieveley Pike Fell Race is an AS-category 4.3 mile fell race near Cliviger with about 400 m of ascent, a flagged and marshaled moorland route, specified kit requirements and prizes across senior and veteran categories.

A waymarked trail event at Hope Village on 26 September 2026 offering two routes: a **21K** over Win Hill and riverside trails, and a **52K** across reservoir edges and moorland. Entries include chip timing, free photos and a themed medal.

Tower to Castle Ultra 30 covers 30.9 miles from Blackpool Tower to Lancaster Castle with a ferry crossing at Fleetwood, way marked sections and compulsory checkpoints. Pre registration is required and entries close 20 September 2026.

Trail races at Delamere Forest on 27 September 2026 offering a 13.1-mile half marathon (two laps) and a 10.6 km 10K (one lap), with chip timing, aid stations, marshals and a canicross option.

A trail event in Blackpool on 27 September 2026 using a 10K loop for 10K, half marathon, marathon and ultra distances, passing Marton Mere, Blackpool Zoo and offering on-course refreshments and bespoke finisher medals.

Breidden Hills is an 11.5 km fell race around Criggion, Shropshire with 790 m of ascent. The course is partially marked so navigational skills and kit checks are required, entrants must be over 18 and entry is £8.

October 2026

An uphill only 10 km race from central Ruthin to the Jubilee Tower on Moel Famau, finishing above 550 metres. After the race a short walk leads to Bwlch Penbarras for medals and an optional bus back to Ruthin.

Two routes from Buxton Community School through the western Peak District: 26.2 miles with 4000 ft ascent or 14.3 miles with 2000 ft ascent. Checkpoints provide refreshments and a hot meal at the finish.

A 15.2 km fell race in the Peak District with 490 m of climb, held at Curbar Primary School on 3 October 2026. Pre-entry is required and proceeds go to Curbar Primary School.

A club organised 12 km fell race with about 490 m of ascent around Old Town, Hebden Bridge, including a flagged section through the private Castle Carr estate. Pre-entry is required and strict FRA kit rules apply.

Cross country races near Thorpe and Dovedale featuring a **4 3/4 mile** main course through valley paths and a **1 1/4 mile** Mini Dash for under 12s, with a river crossing at the famous Stepping Stones.

A junior fell running race in the Pennines for ages 6 and up. The 2 km course starts near a classic pub. Entry is available on the day.

MacTuffX Brierley Hill on 4 October 2026 pairs ten prescribed exercises with running in solo, doubles and relay formats. Standard and LITE weight divisions are available and live leaderboard data will be provided.

Castle Carr is a 24 km fell race in the South/West Pennines near Hebden Bridge on 4 October 2026, with about 1200 m of ascent and official FRA permit and insurance.

An off-road 5 km lap event at Cuerdon Valley Park on Friday 9 October 2026 where runners complete as many laps as they wish within a six hour limit. Aid station, visitor centre refreshments, signed course and finisher medals.
