The Corvedale Cake Walk takes place on Saturday 25 April 2026. The event is organised by the LDWA - Marches Group and is based at Holdgate Church, near Much Wenlock, Shropshire (TF13 6LW, Grid Ref SO 562896). Entries open on 1 January 2026 and close on 11 April 2026. Proceeds will go to the Holdgate and Eaton church communities. Clearly signed parking will be available nearby.

Routes and logistics
Both routes start and finish at Holdgate Church. The routes climb to Abdon Burf, the highest point in Shropshire. Both return via the Jack Mytton Way. The long route also climbs Wenlock Edge and passes Munslow Park, Eaton (checkpoint 2) and Wilderhope. The shorter route goes from Abdon Burf to Clee St Margaret (checkpoint) and on to Tugford before returning to Holdgate.
Hot drinks are available at the start. Full refreshments, including cakes, sandwiches and hot drinks, are provided at checkpoints. Hot dogs are served at the finish. The event is in livestock country so dogs are not allowed. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
