Corvedale Cake Walk
Holdgate, United Kingdom • 25 Apr 2026
Corvedale Cake Walk is a Marches LDWA challenge walk starting at Holdgate Church, near Much Wenlock, Shropshire. It offers two routes, 22 miles and 10 miles, both returning via the Jack Mytton Way. The longer route climbs to Abdon Burf, the highest point in Shropshire, with the circuit continuing over Wenlock Edge for countryside views toward Mid Wales.
Organised to benefit Holdgate and Eaton church communities, the event features hot drinks at the start, refreshments at checkpoints, and hot dogs at the finish. All proceeds go to the two churches. Runners are welcome; dogs are not.
Please bring a mug. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
