The Corvedale Cake Walk is a Marches LDWA challenge walk held on 25 April 2026. The event centre is Holdgate Church, near Much Wenlock, Shropshire TF13 6LW (Grid Ref SO 562896). Entries open 1 January 2026 and close 11 April 2026. Proceeds will go to the Holdgate and Eaton church communities.

Routes and logistics
Both routes climb to Abdon Burf, the highest point in Shropshire, and return via the Jack Mytton Way. The long route continues up and over Wenlock Edge with views out to Mid Wales. The 22 mile route passes Clee St Margaret, Munslow Park, Eaton and Wilderhope before returning to Holdgate. The 10 mile route goes from Holdgate to Abdon Burf, Clee St Margaret and Tugford, then across fields and lanes back to Holdgate.
There will be clearly signed parking nearby. Refreshments are available at checkpoints, including cakes, sandwiches and hot drinks; hot dogs are served at the finish. No dogs are allowed because this is livestock country. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Organisers note the map OS Explorer 217 covers Longmynd and Wenlock Edge, and participants should have suitable clothing for changeable weather. Organisers request that participants bring a mug.
