Corvedale Cake Walk
Much Wenlock, United Kingdom • 26 Apr 2025
The Corvedale Cake Walk is a challenge walking event organized by the Marches Group of the Long Distance Walkers Association. Set in the picturesque Shropshire countryside, participants can choose between two routes: a 22-mile trek that includes a climb to Abdon Burf, the highest point in Shropshire, or a shorter 10-mile route. Both routes offer scenic views and return via the Jack Mytton Way. The event emphasizes community involvement, with proceeds benefiting local churches. Participants are encouraged to bring their own mugs for refreshments, and dogs are not permitted due to livestock in the area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
