Malvern Hills Trail Half Marathon

The Malvern Hills Trail Half Marathon is an off-road trail running event located in Worcestershire. The course covers a distance of approximately 13 miles across a varied and hilly terrain. The race is conducted without a cut-off time, allowing participants to complete the route at their own pace.

The route begins at the Elim Arts Centre and proceeds directly onto the Malvern Hills. Runners travel south through a landscape of woodlands, fields, and forests toward Wynd's Point. At this location, the path ascends onto the ridge line, providing views of the surrounding area. The final section follows the ridge northward before descending to the finish line. The entire course is marked with arrows, and GPX files are provided for navigation.

The event includes several support features:

  • 13 miles (1 distance available)

There are three aid stations along the route, with feed and water stops located approximately every 3 miles. These stations are staffed and supplemented by toilet facilities. The race headquarters is based at the Regents Theological College, which features a theater hall and an on-site cafe. Event registration takes place at the headquarters on the morning of the race, preceded by a safety briefing.

Entry fees include race timing, medals for finishers, and professional race photography. Limited event parking is available on-site, with additional parking located in larger car parks nearby. The event does not permit entries on the day of the race, as participant numbers are limited. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
