Malvern Hills Trail Half Marathon

The Malvern Hills Trail Half Marathon is a 13 mile offroad trail running event held on Saturday 24 April 2027 on the Malvern Hills. The race headquarters is at the Regents Theological College by the Sugarloaf Café, with on-site cafe facilities.

The route starts from the Elim Arts Centre grounds at the Sugarloaf Café and leads onto the Malvern Hills. The course passes through woodlands, fields and forests toward Wynd's Point, climbs onto the ridge where runners follow a northerly ridge line with views either side, and then drops back down to the finish. The whole route is arrow marked and GPX files and maps are provided.

There are three well stocked aid stations on the 13 mile route. Feed and water are provided at the halfway point, and there are feed, water and toilet facilities approximately every three miles. Staffed checkpoints are positioned at miles three, six and nine. The event is timed and there is no cut off time for finishers.

Entry for 2027 is listed at £35 plus VAT and includes race entry, free race photos, a donation to the Malvern Hills Trust, race timing, a signposted route, prizes or medals, feed stations and staffed checkpoints, event parking and physio support. Trail runs nearby

Trail 5k and new 10k at Dunkertons Park lead through fields and woodlands to elevated viewpoints. Prizes are awarded for top three men and women and refreshments are provided at the race HQ.

A chip timed *10k* trail run on 24 May 2026 that starts and finishes at Bredon Cricket Club. The marshalled route climbs to the 299 m summit of Bredon Hill and all finishers receive a medal.

Crocodile 8 on 24 May 2026 is a hilly trail and tarmac race around Tillington and Burghill with music en route and an after-event party at Burghill Community Academy. Senior and junior distances are available.

An off-road race in Dursley on 25 May 2026 covering about 10.31 km with 318 m of climb, visiting Cam Peak, Cam Long Down, Uley Bury and Downham Hill. Entries are limited to 120 and handled via Entry Central.
