November 2026

Trail running festival at Tentsmuir Forest on 01 Nov 2026 offering a Half Marathon, 10 km, 5 km and a 1.2 km family run. Routes are clearly marked and marshalled and finishers in the main distances receive medals and mementos.

A nocturnal ultra where runners cover a well marked 5 km trail loop as many times as possible in six hours. Solo runners and teams of up to three pass a tented base each lap and race with music, lights and on course support.

A multi-terrain ultra around the Tweed Valley based at Glentress Peel Visitor Centre in mid-November. Two route options, 65 km and 50 km, follow forest trails, riverside paths and open moorland with marked routes and aid stations.

Trail runs at the Hermitage of Braid and Blackford Hill on 22 November 2026 include 10 km and 5 km off road courses plus a 1.2 km festive fun run for children. Proceeds from the fun run support local groups.

December 2026

A winter ultra of about 55 miles across the Cheviot hills from Ingram Village Hall, licensed by the Trail Running Association. GPS tracking, a 24-hour finish limit, camping and parking options, and a strict no-refund policy apply.

January 2027

A trail running festival on 3 January 2027 through Glenmore Forest finishing at Loch Morlich beach, offering 5.6 km and 11.2 km races with chip timing, finisher medals, home baking and prizes; dogs are allowed on leads.

A deep winter fell run on January 9, 2027 that climbs to the summit of Hedgehope and returns to Ingram Cafe NE66 4LT. The route is fully marked and marshalled and participants must carry required winter kit.

Trail runs at Vogrie Country Park on 17 January 2027 feature multiple distances across marked mixed terrain laps through estate paths, woodlands and the Tyne Valley, with on site refreshments and medals.

May 2028

Take on the MTC Grimalkin a scenic 34 mile single day ultra across Perthshire from Perth to Pitlochry as Day 4 of the Mount to Coast SCOTIA series. Spots limited to 40; all finishers earn a medal and champions take bespoke trophies.

Take on the inaugural MTC Glaistig, a scenic 31.3 mile ultra from Innerleithen to Edinburgh Airport with limited slots and a bespoke finisher medal. Expect rugged terrain, mandatory safety kit and a true end to end challenge.

Day 3 of the Mount to Coast Scotia series, the MTC Nuckelavee covers about 40 miles from Travelodge Edinburgh Airport to Travelodge Perth. Entrants must meet kit and pace requirements, numbers are limited and finishers receive a medal.

June 2028

A single day 37.6 mile ultra from Gretna Green to Penrith, the MTC Boggart is Day 1 of the MTC ALBION end to end of England. Entries are limited, mandatory kit is required and all finishers receive a medal.
