Auchterarder 10K Chilli Trail Race 2026

The Auchterarder Chilli Trail is a 10 km trail race that starts in the town of Auchterarder and progresses into the foothills of the Ochil Hills. The route is described by the organisers as having a distinctive chilli pepper shape and includes a mix of surfaces, forest trails, steady uphills and downhills, and a couple of stream crossings. The full route will be emailed to runners before the event and will be posted on the organiser's Facebook page.

Entry was online only and online entries were scheduled to close on 24 October or when the race limit was met. Runners must be aged 16 or above on race day. Headphones are not permitted on the course except for bone conduction devices.

All competitors must register in person to collect their race number and timing chip; registration included ID checks and a requirement to write personal details on the back of the number. Unsecured baggage storage was provided at registration and at the start/finish area and the organisers do not accept responsibility for stored items. A race safety briefing was to be emailed to entrants in the week before the event.

All participants received a snood and a bespoke Chilli Trail Race 2026 medal. Prizes were allocated for the top three male and female finishers, first in age categories (Senior, V40, V50, V60, V70+), first local male and female, and for best costumes. There was plentiful on-street parking around the start area in Auchterarder. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
