Auchterarder 10K Chilli Trail Race 2026
The Auchterarder 10K Chilli Trail Race takes place on 31 October 2026 and is organised by Five Star Events as a Halloween themed event. The route is described as taking the distinctive shape of a chilli pepper and begins in the town of Auchterarder before moving into the foothills of the Ochil Hills.
The course uses a variety of surfaces and includes forest trails, steady climbs, descents and a couple of stream crossings. The full GPS route will be shared with registered runners before the event and on the event Facebook page. There is no cut off time for the event so participants may run, jog or walk.
Entry is online only and entries close on 24 October or when the race limit is met. The event has a limit of 650 places and is currently full with a waiting list open. Once entries have been processed no refunds are given and there is no deferment system. Substitutions are permitted at no extra cost if requested before 24 October 2026.
Runners must be aged 16 or above on race day. Headphones are not permitted on the course except for bone conduction devices. All runners must register in person to collect their race number and timing chip, and ID checks will be carried out. Unsecured baggage storage will be available but the organisers do not accept responsibility for stored items.
All finishers receive a snood and a bespoke Chilli Trail Race 2026 medal. Prizes are awarded for top finishers by gender, age categories (Senior, V40, V50, V60 and V70+), first local runners and best costumes. On-street car parking is available around the start area.
