Scurry Events Ltd is organising the Scurry Around Tentsmuir Forest Trail Running Festival on 02 Nov 2025 at the Larick Centre, Tayport (DD6 9EA). The festival includes multiple off-road distances, all on clearly marked and marshalled routes.

Course, entries and facilities
The half marathon, 10 km and 5 km are separate one-lap courses through and around Tentsmuir Forest, starting from a grassy field beside Links Road North in Tayport. Surfaces include woodland tracks, tarmac, grass, sand and mud. Routes are signposted and marshalled; earphones are prohibited. The half marathon course is not suitable for pushchairs or dogs; run buggies are permitted on the 10 km, 5 km and fun run courses. Canicross is not included.
Entry is via online registration with tiered fees and limited on-the-day cash entries. The event supports the Tayport Community Trust and Larick Centre. Finishers medals and a race memento are provided for half marathon, 10 km and 5 km entrants; fun run children receive a medal and snacks. First-aid cover is provided at the start and finish areas and mid-route on the half marathon. Finish times will be issued online; chip timing may not be used. Parking is limited at the Larick Centre with additional parking on the grassy area off Links Road North. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
