Sidlaw Ultra 2026

Sidlaw Ultra 2026 is a solo trail event held on 28 November 2026. The route is approximately 69 km, running from Glamis Castle to Scone Palace and using marked trails with hilltop sections and scenic views.

The event includes water stations at checkpoints, drop off bags conveyed to checkpoints, chip timing, GPS tracking with issued trackers that must be carried, live online results, and a medic team. All finishers receive a medal and a meal voucher to use at the finish, where a food truck (Oaklies) provides hot meals. Prizes are awarded to the first finishers in the Male, Female, and NB categories.

Entry benefits listed for participants include online entry, insurance, GPS tracking, a bus to the start from Scone Palace to Glamis Castle, and marshalled course markings. An optional early start is available.

Runners are given a compulsory kit list that includes a head torch, whistle, mobile phone, emergency blanket, emergency food and drink, and the issued GPS tracker. Emergency contact information must be written on the race bib. Recommended items include waterproofs when weather is poor, a map of the route, a first aid kit, and spare clothes or socks placed in drop off bags.
