Logistics

The timing system uses HuTags on velcro wrist straps that register each lap with the timing monitor. Runners must not cover the tag and must check out with the timing team at race finish to finalise lap counts. A finisher prize is available for collection at the event basecamp gazebo. Basecamp is marked on the event GPX map and includes two 6 x 3 meter gazebos for kit storage; the organiser does not accept liability for lost items. Spectators are welcome at basecamp. Parking at Tentsmuir uses a pay barrier and costs £4 for the day.

Mandatory kit includes sufficient nutrition and hydration (minimum 500 ml fluid per hour and 60-90 g carbohydrates per hour), appropriate clothing for the weather, dry clothes for after the event, and a mobile phone. Refunds are available up to two months before the event; transfers to another event in the same calendar year are allowed up to one month before, and participant transfers are permitted up to one week before the event. Total places: 250. Price listed: £44.95 (until 21 Oct 2026). Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
