The Dalmeny Halloween Trail Half is a scenic distance running event located near Edinburgh. The course takes participants through the grounds of the Dalmeny Estate and the Cammo Nature Reserve. The route consists of a variety of terrain types, including wooded trails, riverside paths, and farm tracks. The course includes several undulations, totaling less than 1,000 feet of ascent throughout the race.
The event has a maximum capacity of approximately 350 participants. The starting and finishing point is located at Longcraigs Scout Hall in South Queensferry, which is situated approximately one mile from the Dalmeny Rail Station.

The organizers provide two water stations along the route for hydration. The course is monitored by marshals and qualified first aiders. Upon completion, every participant receives a finisher's medal. A buffet and hot drinks are provided in the finisher's area. Prizes are awarded to the first male and female finishers across all age categories.
The event also serves as a fundraiser for the South Queensferry Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). A minimum of £1 from every entry fee is donated to this local charity.
