The North Barrule will take place in Ramsey on Saturday 26 September 2026. You can run 3 miles.

A 30 km hill race from Traquair House to Broughton Ales across the Scottish Borders with roughly 1500 m of ascent. The route uses hill tracks and open heather, has eight marshalled checkpoints and requires mandatory emergency kit.

Trail running festival at Dalkeith Country Park near Edinburgh offering distances from a family mile to an ultra marathon. Courses use woodland trails, firm paths and grassy sections, and one well controlled dog per runner is allowed.

October 2026

Mud Madness at Chatelherault Country Park mixes mud, obstacles and water hazards with dedicated children and family routes; registration includes a t shirt and finishers receive a medal, water and a snack.

An off-road event at Dodd Wood on 4 October 2026 offering marked chip-timed 8K and 5K routes with notable ascent and lake views. Most wide trails allow two dogs per runner, and GPX files are available.

A 57 miles point to point ultramarathon from Glasgow to Edinburgh along canals and towpaths with live GPS tracking, mandatory kit and qualifying entry criteria. The event uses enforced checkpoint and overall cut off time.

A 70 km circular mixed terrain ultra in and around historic Stirling, offered as solo entries or team relays of three or six, with aid stations, GPS live tracking and an overall 14 hour cut off.

A trail running festival in Aberfoyle on 10 October 2026 that marks its third edition, featuring the returning half marathon and a 63 km ultra across multiple race options.

An annual charity trail 10 km at Eglinton Park in Ayrshire on 11 October 2026, supporting Release Ayrshire for World Mental Health Day. The course is fully marked with marshals, and finishers receive bling and donated home baking.

Chip timed races at Chatelherault Country Park offering 6k, 10k, 16k and 20k routes in Hamilton, with bib collection on race day, measured courses, finisher medals, hydration stations and goody bags.

November 2026

A multi terrain 10 km race on 1 November 2026 with a reversed route featuring road and trail sections, views over Loch Tulla and a finishing descent across the Bridge of Orchy. Entries are limited and the event uses chip timing.
