A partially self navigated 29 mile trail ultra around Morland near Penrith, with roughly 3000 ft of ascent and mixed off road terrain. The event includes tracking, three checkpoints with food and a finishers medal.

An ultra trail along the Northumberland coast from Bamburgh to Druridge Bay with two distances, 54 km and a new 27 km option. The route includes coastal landmarks, feed stations, mandatory kit requirements, and live chip timing.

A roughly 5k trail race at Hamsterley Forest on 8 March 2026 with mud, hills and obstacles; dogs are welcome and veterinary and canine first aid cover are provided. Teams of five compete for Top Dogz awards based on aggregate time.

Carrock Fell Race on Sunday 8 March 2026 in the Lake District is a 9 km fell race with 500 m climb that starts and finishes at Calebreck Farm. The unmarked route links checkpoints at Carrock Fell and High Pike and entry is on the day.

A scenic, approximately 12 km multi-terrain trail around Whitley Bay, featuring beach running, clifftops, coastal paths and woodland trails, finishing at Churchill Playing Fields with refreshments and a buff instead of a medal.

A 7.2 km fell race in the Lake District with 543 m of ascent, using the traditional route to Causey Pike summit. The course is partly marked, run under FRA rules, and requires full kit plus a mandatory base layer.

A timed fell race from Langleeford that visits Hedgehope Hill and The Cheviot over an 11 mile route with about 3689 ft of ascent. The event includes a GPX route file, a halfway water station and mountain rescue support.

Join the Daffodil Run & Walk on Saturday 28 March 2026, a scenic 13 mile out and back from Pooley Bridge to Hallin Fell. Suitable for walkers and runners, the route is signposted with drink stations and refreshments in Pooley Village Hall.

A medium-length BM fell race near Frosterley on 28 March 2026, about 10.5–11 km with 380 m ascent. The unmarked route requires map and compass, full FRA kit is mandatory, and entry is limited to 50 runners.

Join Margisons Miles, a 6 hour charity loop at Community Woods, Ashington, where runners cover as much or as little as they like to support Wansbeck Valley Food Bank and Friends of the Woods. Sweets, water and proceeds support charities.

A 55 km ultra on Wainwright’s coast to coast route from Kirkby Stephen to Richmond, crossing the North Pennines and Yorkshire Dales. The event emphasises self-sufficiency, mandatory kit checks, mapped GPX support and staffed aid stations.

April 2026

Trail races from Stanhope Showground into the North Pennines AONB, offering a 10k and a half marathon across moorland, woodland and waterfalls. The event includes feed stations, waymarked routes, medical cover and eco friendly race goodies.

A 26 miles loop from Allendale in Northumberland on 11 April 2026, organised to raise funds for North of Tyne Mountain Rescue Team. The route crosses peat bogs and upland summits and uses electronic chip timing for tracking.

A Lake District trail-running festival in Keswick with 53k and 23k routes. Routes pass Derwent Water and include ascents of Scafell Pike and High Spy, with marked kilometres, aid stations and race services for participants.

A coastal trail marathon from Redcar to Whitby of about 26.5 miles with 3263 ft of ascent, featuring sand, cliffs and rocky paths. A 10 hour cutoff and 300 places make the course accessible to walkers and runners.

Run a scenic 14.35 miles from Redcar Beach to the fishing village of Staithes along sand, cliff top paths and the Cleveland Way. Challenging underfoot terrain and a five hour cutoff mean walkers are welcome.
