Chip Chase on Sunday 9 August 2026 is a BS fell race from Cross Keys Inn, Uppermill. The 10 km course gains about 400 m, is fully flagged and marshalled, and includes one steep climb, with teams and on-the-day entry available.

A sharp 4.4 km fell race from the Ragleth Inn in Little Stretton featuring 390 m of climb and great ridge views; a fast, testing course for keen fell runners. Pre entry via SI Entries or entries on the day are welcome.

An evening fell race in Darley Dale covering 7.3 km with 240 m of climb. The waymarked route features forest trails, steep ascents including a final climb to Oker Trig Point, technical descents and a short dash to the finish.

Flagg Moor Run is a 5.5 mile fell race in Flagg in the Peak District, following fields, lanes and country roads through Pomeroy and Chelmorton before returning to the village. Entries open in August 2025 with a standard fee of £7.

A multiple-distance trail running event in Saltaire that follows a mainly flat towpath. Feed stations appear about every three miles and finishers receive a bespoke medal.

Take on the Ilkley Skyline, a challenging 22 mile fell run across Ilkley Moor and Rombalds Moor with sweeping summit views and rugged terrain. Starting and finishing at The Hermit, the unmarked loop rewards strong navigational skill.

Join the Rusland 5, a scenic fell race across Rusland Showfield in the Lake District featuring a 4.8 mile route with 310 m of climb and shorter senior and junior options. Race entry is free; the show costs £5 and accepts entries on the day.

Take on the Piethorne Fell Race on Sun 16 Aug 2026: a 10 km test with 275 m of climb across the scenic South West Pennines. Starts at the Bulls Head in Newhey with cash prizes for record breakers and both pre entries and on the day entry.

Ribble Runfest on Sunday 16 August 2026 is a multi distance running event in the parklands of central Preston. Routes include 10 km, half marathon, marathon and an ultra, with aid stations, course signage and a bespoke finisher medal.

Challenge yourself on the Sedbergh Hills fell race: 14 miles across scenic Yorkshire Dales with roughly 6000 ft of climb, testing endurance and navigation. Pre entry only via SI Entries; post race prizegiving and running camaraderie await.

Take on the Fellrunner on Sunday 16 August 2026 in Crowden in the Peak District, a testing 12.9 km course with 518 m of climb across wild moorland and open fell. Pre entry and on the day entry available; open to runners aged 18 and over.

Challenge yourself on the Pilgrims Cross Fell Race across the West Pennine Moors, a scenic but tough 10.7 km with 390 m of climb. Entry is on the day only with a small fee, and the race features in the Rossendale midweek series.

A pop up summer run in Bingley offering 5k and 10k routes with evening registration and entry fees between £10 and £17. Participants receive a jumble medal, food and a sweetie bag; open to runners aged 16 and over.

Four self navigated trail races in Edale on 22 August 2026 across Peak District terrain. GPX and maps are provided, checkpoints supply food and drinks, and ultra and marathon runners carry trackers for safety.

Trail half marathon and 10k around Carsington Water on 22 August 2026, on marked and marshalled paths. The event includes an event village with food and finish-line goodies and a discounted event t-shirt with entry.

Enjoy the Summer Extravaganza on the Leeds Liverpool Canal towpath in Kirkstall, with distances from 10k to marathon. Finishers receive bespoke medals and postrace treats and organisers donate £1 to Hollybush charity per runner.

Final event in the Phoenix Running 2026 Summer Series at Chorlton Water Park. Timed laps on a 5.3 km out and back riverside course let participants cover distances from 5 km up to ultra and all finishers receive a bespoke medal.
