Buxton, United Kingdom • 4 Oct 2025
The Goyt Valley Challenge is a running event organized by the High Peak LDWA, featuring two route options: a long 26.2-mile course and a shorter 14.3-mile course. Both routes traverse the scenic western Peak District, including notable landmarks such as Axe Edge, Goyt Valley, and Lamaload Reservoir. The event starts and finishes at Buxton Community School, with registration available from early morning.
Participants are encouraged to prepare adequately for the terrain and weather conditions. Refreshments will be provided at checkpoints, and all finishers will receive certificates. The event promotes inclusivity, welcoming under-18 participants with adult supervision. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
