Trail Running calendar near Trefonen 2026-2027

A November fell race in Sunnyhurst Woods, Darwen, featuring a roughly 6 km course with 305 m of climb via Darwen Tower and the moors. Entry is via Si Entries, minimum age 14, with FRA and non member fees.

An AL fell race of 27 km with 1,473 m ascent around Pendle from Barley Village Hall. Navigation and mandatory kit are required, cut-offs apply. Pre-entry runs from 1 August to 31 October with a £16 fee and EOD places at £25 if available.

A circular trail and fell race from Marsden Cricket Club of about 5.8 miles and 1026 ft of ascent across moorland and reservoirs. The event is UKA affiliated, requires basic trail kit and has trophy prizes by age category.

The Black Night Scar fell race lights up the South West Pennines on 24 Nov 2026 from Todmorden, a punchy 5.8 km course with 315 m of climb under headtorches. Entries available pre entry or on the day with teams of three welcome.

Tackle the Baslow Bolt, a scenic yet testing 13 km Peak District fell race with 400 m of climb. On 28 Nov 2026 at St Anne's Church, this community fundraiser finishes with cake and refreshments.

Loggerheads Half Marathon at Loggerheads Country Park is a three lap 7 km loop for solo runners and three person relay teams, set on a scenic but testing trail with some steep sections. Feed stations, marshals and medals for finishers.

Teams of four take on the Lee Mill Relay at Lee Mill Quarry, Rossendale, each running a flagged 10.7 km loop across rugged, potentially wintry terrain. A tough winter fell running challenge with strict kit checks.

Tackle the Famous Grouse Fell Race in Birch Vale on 29 Nov 2026, a spirited 8.4 km Peak District route with plenty of climb. Entry is on the day, register at the Sycamore Inn and enjoy results and prize giving at the pub.
