Broadway Marathon & Half Marathon

The Broadway Marathon & Half Marathon is scheduled for 16 November 2025 in Broadway, Worcestershire, in the northern Cotswolds. The event is organised by Cotswold Trail Events. Distances offered:

• Half Marathon Entries opened on 14 June 2025 and closed on 2 November 2025. At the time of listing there were 307 participants and 53 on the waiting list. Entry fees were listed as £50.00 for the marathon and £39.00 for the half marathon, with a £2.00 discount for UKA club members.

Course and race rules

Both races start and finish in Broadway village, with the race start on Broadway High Street. The route follows trails and roads through villages, woodlands and hilly terrain. The majority of the course is trail or unpaved track, with a few minor road sections where necessary. The route is waymarked and marshals will be positioned at a few key points. The marathon route includes climbs to Broadway Tower, crosses to Snowshill and Stanway, then splits from the half to run into Winchcombe and past Sudeley Castle before returning along the escarpment to rejoin the half marathon route. The marathon is licensed by the TRA and run under UK Athletics rules; minimum age on race day for the marathon is 18 years and for the half marathon is 17 years.
