Peak District South & North

Peak District South & North is a late autumn, two-day trail running weekend based in Edale, Peak District. The routes tour highlights of the White Peak and Dark Peak and include sections of the Pennine Way and Pennine Bridleway.

The route is not waymarked beyond fixed finger posts but runs wholly on public rights of way. GPX files are sent to all entries in advance. Several on-course refreshment and drinks points are provided and all race transport is included. Total ascent is Day One 1439 metres and Day Two 1649 metres.

Organiser bookable accommodation options include low-cost bunkroom and breakfast choices; the village of Edale has B&Bs, pubs and shops and there is parking available. Race headquarters offers pre- and post-event hospitality. Finishers receive eco medals and winners' trophies are awarded for fastest male and female on the 43 km, 50 km and 93 km courses. Age category trophies are awarded on the 93 km course for 20-25, 26-49 and 50+.

A classic Peak District fell race around Win Hill covering 7.3 km with 305 m of climb. The well marked, marshalled route starts at Bamford Recreation Ground and features on-site refreshments with proceeds supporting local groups.

A 6.7 km fell-style trail race from Totley AC pavilion across Blacka Moor and Totley Moor with steep climbs, technical descents and exposed roots; entry is limited to 250 and the event is run under FRA rules.

Beyond Manchester on 18 July 2026 offers a city-centre trail and ultra that explores canals, quays and greenbelt areas around Manchester, with GPX files, waymarked routes, feed stations and medical support.

A 26 km trail Metric Marathon starting and finishing in Hebden Bridge, running out to Stoodley Pike and back. The course is waymarked with marshals, a halfway checkpoint, a water station at the turnaround and baggage storage; all finishers..
