Trail Running calendar near Thurlstone 2026-2027

A category BM fell race of 11.3 km with 415 m climb around Waddington on 27 September 2026. Entry on the day is £5, teams of three are allowed, the route is marshalled and a 45 minute cut off applies on the upper track.

A BM class fell race in Wirksworth covering 13.7 km with 457 m of ascent. The route starts in Stoney Wood and runs over quarries, the High Peak Trail, Carsington Pastures and Harborough Rocks with varied climbs and descents.

Experience scenic trails at Delamere Forest with a Half Marathon or 10K on fully marked, chip timed routes and canicross options for runners with dogs. The eco friendly event features aid stations, photos and a wooden finisher's medal.

A club organised 12 km fell race with about 490 m of ascent around Old Town, Hebden Bridge, including a flagged section through the private Castle Carr estate. Pre-entry is required and strict FRA kit rules apply.

A final race in the series on 4 October 2026, DalesRunner 40 is a moorland and trail route starting and finishing at The Dales Bike Centre, Reeth, with GPX support, aid stations including vegan options, and a post-race hot meal.

A headtorch trail event on 6 October 2026 at Swinsty Moor Car Park offering Half Marathon, 10 km and 5 km routes around Swinsty and Fewston Reservoirs with water stations and medals for finishers.

Tideswell Terminator is a Peak District fell race on 10 October 2026, covering 9.1 km with 283 m of climb across scenic hills. Pre entry only, age 18 plus, this short course is a bracing test for fell runners.
