Dukeries 30 and 40

The event offers two loop distances that run largely through Sherwood Forest and surrounding country in Nottinghamshire. The routes use forest trails and footpaths and pass sandstone villages and historical sites including Thoresby Estate, Creswell Crags and the Welbeck Estate. The longer option passes The Major Oak.

The course is fully marked with tape and arrows. There are well stocked aid stations along the route and one enforced cutoff at Aid Station 3 on the A614; the total event cutoff is 10.5 hours. Pacers are not allowed. Crews may access the route except at specified banned locations. Drop bags are not available.

All finishers receive a medal. Hot soup, tea and coffee are available at the finish area, with vegan food options and milk for hot drinks. Free parking is provided at the start. A hilly 3.75 mile cross country race at Mapplewell Meadows Farm, Barnsley, run on mostly grass with some gravel and possible muddy sections. Entries are limited to 150, with prizes across age categories and a corporate team trophy.

An undulating, chip-timed trail 10K in Skellingthorpe on 15 May 2026 organised by Lincoln District Runners. The race had a 300-runner limit, offered medals and goody bags, and is currently listed as full.

A 50 km trail ultramarathon in Nottinghamshire on 16 May 2026, starting and finishing at Milestone Brewery, with checkpoints every 6 to 8 miles, a 10 hour cut-off, finish-line food and tap room access.
