Pendle Cloughs Fell Race
The Pendle Cloughs Fell Race is a fell race held on Saturday 8 May 2027 near Downham, nr Clitheroe, Lancashire (BB7 4BJ), grid reference SD787439. The course covers 22.5 km (14 miles) with approximately 1250 m of ascent and is classified as Category AL. Minimum age for entry is 18.
Entry is available both by pre-entry and on the day while the limit of 200 entrants has not been reached. Pre-entry fees are £10 for members and £14 for non-members. Entry on the day fees are £15 for members and £19 for non-members. Pre-entry is handled via the SIEntries system; on the day entry is permitted only if the field limit has not been met.
The event holds a permit and carries associated UK Athletics insurance through the FRA. Teams are not permitted and there are no junior races. Checkpoint cut-off times apply; details are provided on the event map. Organisers request car sharing where possible. Registration and parking are at the Village Hall (grid ref SD787439) with additional parking at the village Information Centre. Competitors are asked to bring required kit to registration.
