Beyond the Lune Summer Trails

Beyond the Lune Summer Trails is scheduled for 20 June 2026 in Kirkby Lonsdale, with the event based at The Barn in the town centre. The event offers three marked trail distances and uses local footpaths, bridleways and some on and off road sections.

Routes pass local landmarks including riverside paths, steps and fell tracks. The 10 km route is recommended for runners who can self navigate and the 20 km route requires the ability to self navigate. The 20 km course includes fell road and bridleway sections with ridge and valley views.

Recorded support and services vary by distance. The 5 km course is fully signed with marshals and includes refreshment and cake, Beyond The Lune merchandise, and free entry for U13s when accompanied by an adult (maximum two U13s per adult). The 10 km and 20 km options include a start pastry and hot drink, a GPX file of the route, merchandise, partially signed sections with marshals, a finishers beer where age appropriate, and a seasonal Barny Box.

Entry fees are shown per distance and entries are open from 23 December 2025 until 15 June 2026. A cut off time of 1pm applies to all runs and under 16s must run with a parent or guardian. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
