Trail Running calendar near Stair 2025-2026

On 18 April 2026 join the Burnsall Trail Half in the Yorkshire Dales, the opening race of the Due North Half Marathon series. Enjoy a scenic trail route along riverside paths with great views and a post race meal, beer and race goodies.

Join the Yorkshire Weekend Saunter in picturesque Saltaire, with 5K, 10K and half marathon routes along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. All finishers get a jumble medal and enjoy hot food and a beer or soft drink at the finish.

Trail Blazer Dam Busters from Heart and Soul Racing offers 10K and Half Marathon routes across rugged Pennine moors from Blackton Grange Estate near Barnard Castle. Expect epic views and true countryside trail running.

Swainby Sweep is a 7 and 16 mile circular trail race through the wild North York Moors, featuring moorland, forest tracks and sections of the Cleveland Way. Scenic and testing, the event is well supported with checkpoints and feed stations.

The Three Peaks Race is an iconic 24 mile fell run in the Yorkshire Dales, taking in Pen y Ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside. Expect rugged terrain, big climbs and classic mountain running atmosphere.

25 and 26 April 2026: The Fellsman and The Fellsman Dart run high level routes across the Yorkshire Dales, testing navigation, endurance and grit. Map and compass are compulsory; volunteer support and live tracking provided.

Beyond Newcastle starts and finishes at Swing Bridge on the Quayside, offering a scenic 55 km ultra or 25 km trail along the Tyne and Derwent. Riverside and woodland trails, GPX routes, feed stations, chip timing and a finishers medal.
