The Saturn - Lord of The Run - North is a 7 hour timed running event taking place on Sunday 21 June 2026 at Durham Amateur Rowing Club, Green Ln, Old Elvet, Durham DH1 3JU. The course is a fully signed trail along the River Wear with views of the Cathedral and is described as flat. Minimum age to enter is 12 years. Turn points are provided at 3k and 5k within the lap to allow compliance with UK Athletics distance rules.

Facilities, entries and rules

Maximum entries are 300. Entries close 20/06/2026. Entry fees listed are Affiliated £27.00 and Unattached £29.00. Transfers are allowed online for £2.50 up to the day before the event; deferral to another event is available for a fee of £18. Final race instructions are emailed 7-10 days before the event and number pick up is on the day at registration. Runners over 45 km must be 20 years or older; 18- and 19-year-olds may run up to 45 km.

Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal, and distance pins are awarded for half-marathon or longer distances. A goody bag is provided, with a vegan option. An aid and drinks table is available at the start/finish of each lap with snacks and vegan options. Toilets and changing facilities are at race HQ. A bag drop is provided but is unstaffed and left at the participant's own risk. Free on-street parking and pay-and-display city centre parking are nearby. Headphones are allowed.
