LRC Tees Trailtastic

LRC Tees Trailtastic is a trail running event held at the TCR Hub in Barnard Castle, Teesdale, County Durham on 4 July 2027. Routes follow sections of the Teesdale Way and use off road paths over rolling terrain with a few gentle inclines and descents. The event is offered as a non-competitive off road adventure rather than a race.

Distances offered:

  • 3.5 miles
  • 9 miles
  • 15 miles

Course and entry rules include minimum ages by course: the event minimum age is 15 years; the 3.5 mile route is for runners aged 15 or older; the 9 mile and 15 mile routes are for runners aged 17 or older. All courses are marshalled and signposted and have aid stations arranged as follows: one for the 3.5 mile route, two for the 9 mile route, and four for the 15 mile route. Water and fuel are provided at aid stations by Precision Fuel & Hydration. There is a five hour cut-off time and walk-runners are accepted.

Included with entries are a marked course, marshals, finish-line items, free professional photographs, and an event memento. An optional group warm-up and post-event yoga session are available. Facilities note toilets at the race HQ, paid parking at Teesdale School (£5) and limited free parking around the town. There are no changing facilities at the TCR Hub. TRA licensing and UK Athletics rules apply. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
