LRC Tees Trailtastic is a trail running event held on 21 June 2026 in Barnard Castle, County Durham, with the race hub at TCR Hub. The event offers multiple off-road courses that follow sections of the Teesdale Way over rolling terrain with a few gentle inclines and descents.

Distances:

  • 3.5 miles: runners aged 15 or older
  • 9 miles: runners aged 17 or older
  • 15 miles: runners aged 17 or older

All courses are fully marked, marshalled, and sign posted. Aid stations provide water and fuel, with one station on the 3.5 mile course, two on the 9 mile course, and four on the 15 mile course. Timing arrangements include a five hour cut-off on course; walk-runners are welcome. The event is TRA licensed and UK Athletics rules apply.

Facilities at the race headquarters include toilets. Paid parking is available at Teesdale School for a fee of £5, and there are limited free parking places around the town. There are no changing facilities at the TCR Hub. Event entries open on 4 December 2025 and close on 15 June 2026. The organiser is The Long Run Collective.
