LRC Tees Trailtastic
LRC Tees Trailtastic is a trail running event in County Durham, based at the TCR Hub in Barnard Castle, held on 4 July 2027. Courses follow sections of the Teesdale Way and run over rolling terrain with a few gentle inclines and descents.
Distances available:
- 3.5 miles - runners aged 15 or older
- 9 miles - runners aged 17 or older
- 15 miles - runners aged 17 or older
All courses are marshalled and signposted. Aid stations are provided with water and fuel, supplied with support from Precision Fuel & Hydration; there is one aid station on the 3.5 mile course, two on the 9 mile course and four on the 15 mile course. The event has a five hour cut off to complete a course. TRA licensing and UK Athletics rules apply.
Race headquarters provide toilets. Paid car parking is available at Teesdale School for £5 and there are limited free parking spaces around the town. There are no changing facilities at the TCR Hub; participants are advised to manage valuables accordingly. Entries include a marked course, marshals, finish-line items, optional group warm-up and post-event yoga led by a yoga teacher from the Long Run Collective, free professional photographs, spot prizes and an exclusive finisher memento.
