LRC Tees Trailtastic
LRC Tees Trailtastic is a trail running event in County Durham based at the TCR Hub, Barnard Castle, taking place on 4 July 2027. The courses run along sections of the Teesdale Way over rolling terrain with a few gentle inclines and descents.
Distances offered:
- 3.5 miles - ages 15 and over
- 9 miles - ages 17 and over
- 15 miles - ages 17 and over
All courses are marshalled and signposted. Cut off time for the event is five hours and walk runners are welcome. Aid stations are provided on each course: one for the 3.5 mile route, two for the 9 mile route and four for the 15 mile route, with water and fuel supplied by Precision Fuel & Hydration. Participants may carry their own nutrition.
Event services and features include a marked course, marshals, finish line mementos, free professional photographs, optional group warm up and post run LRC Yoga, and spot prizes from local businesses. Facilities note that toilets are available at the race headquarters. Paid parking is available at Teesdale School for £5 and there are limited free parking spaces around the town. There are no changing facilities at the TCR Hub.
