LRC Tees Trailtastic
LRC Tees Trailtastic is a trail running event held in Teesdale with the TCR Hub in Barnard Castle as the event base. The courses use sections of the Teesdale Way and run over rolling terrain with a few gentle inclines and descents.
Distances offered:
- 3.5 miles - runners aged 15 or older
- 9 miles - runners aged 17 or older
- 15 miles - runners aged 17 or older
Entries include a waymarked course, marshals, finish-line items and free professional photographs. There is an optional group warm-up and optional post run yoga. All courses are marshalled and signposted. The cut-off time for the event is five hours.
Aid stations are provided around the courses with water and fuel supplied by Precision Fuel & Hydration: one station for the 3.5 mile course, two for the 9 mile course and four for the 15 mile course. Participants may carry their own nutrition.
Facilities at the event base include toilets. Paid car parking is available at Teesdale School for £5 and there are limited free parking places around the town. There are no changing facilities at the TCR Hub. TRA licensing and UK Athletics rules apply. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
