About the race
LRC Tees Trailtastic is a trail running event in County Durham held on Sunday 4 July 2027 from TCR Hub in Barnard Castle. Courses follow sections of the Teesdale Way over rolling terrain with a few gentle inclines and descents. The event offers marked, marshalled and signposted routes and a five hour cut off time; walk-runners are welcome.

- 9 miles
- 15 miles
Aid stations provide water, fuel and hydration with one station on the 3.5 mile course, two on the 9 mile course and four on the 15 mile course. Entries include a marked course, marshals, finish-line items, free professional photographs, and an exclusive LRC Tees Trailtastic memento for finishers. Optional group warm-up and post-run LRC Yoga sessions are offered. Spot prizes will be awarded on the day with contributions from local businesses.
Facilities include toilets at the race headquarters and paid parking at Teesdale School next to the hub for £5, with limited free parking around the town. There are no changing facilities at the TCR Hub and participants are advised to secure valuables. TRA licensing and UK Athletics rules apply and minimum ages apply to each course.
