Kettlewell 10k Trail Race

Kettlewell 10k Trail Race is part of the Due North Trail Race Series. The route follows the same line as the Kettlewell Trail Half Marathon, taking a sustained climb out of Arncliffe to the top of Arncliffe Moor. Runners remain on the moor for about 3 km, mainly a gentle downhill with some undulating sections. The course offers views over Starbotton and Kettlewell and finishes with a downhill section looking towards Kilnsey Crag.

The race venue is the car park field at Hawkswick Cote. Car parking and registration are based in this field, with a registration tent on site. Toilets are provided in the car park.

The course is partially way marked. Drinks stations supply water and juice along the route. Included for entrants are a post race meal (pie, soup or similar), a bottle of beer, Due North merchandise and goodies from race sponsors. Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, a cup or bottle for drinks stations and a mobile phone with a location app such as OS Locate.

Entry options distinguish between UKA/TRA affiliated and unaffiliated competitors. A discount is available when entering multiple events in the Due North 10k series. Minimum age for entry is 17. Prizes for finishing positions and age categories will be distributed and winners will be notified by email. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
