Kettlewell 10k Trail Race
The Kettlewell 10 km Trail Race is part of the Due North Trail Race Series. The route climbs out of Arncliffe to the top of Arncliffe Moor, follows the moor top for about 3 km with mainly gentle downhill and some undulating sections, and finishes with a downhill section looking towards Kilnsey Crag. The course offers views over Starbotton and Kettlewell.
The event is based at the car park field at Hawkswick Cote, where car parking and toilets are provided. The course is partially way marked. Drinks stations supply water and juice. Post-race provisions include a meal (pie or soup or similar), a bottle of beer, Due North merchandise and goodies from race sponsors.
Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, a cup or bottle for drinks stations, and a mobile phone with the race-day contact number stored and a location app such as OS Locate. Minimum age for entry is 17. Entry fees are listed for UKA/TRA affiliated and unaffiliated runners. A discount is available when entering multiple events in the Due North 10k series.
Prize awards cover 1st to 3rd places for male and female open and non-binary categories, and age-category prizes for V40, V50, V60 and V70 plus; prizes will be emailed to winners after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
