Hawkswick, United Kingdom • 20 Jun 2026

Kettlewell 10k Trail Race

The event is a 10 km trail race that forms part of the Due North Trail Race Series. The course follows the same early route as the Kettlewell Trail Half Marathon, taking a sustained climb out of Arncliffe to the top of Arncliffe Moor. Runners then stay on the moor for about 3 km, mainly a gentle downhill with some undulating sections, before completing the distance with a downhill finish looking towards Kilnsey Crag. The route offers open moorland running and views over Starbotton and Kettlewell.

The venue is the car park field at Hawkswick cote, with car parking provided on site and toilets available in the car park. The course is partially way marked and there are drinks stations offering water and juice. Included for runners are a post-race meal (pie, soup or similar), a bottle of beer, Due North merchandise, and goodies from race sponsors.

Entry details note different fees for UKA/TRA affiliated and unaffiliated runners, and a discount is available when entering multiple events in the series. The event specifies a minimum age of 17. Minimum kit requirements include a waterproof jacket, hat and gloves, a cup or bottle for drinks stations, and a mobile phone with the race-day emergency contact stored and a location app such as OS Locate.

Prizes are awarded for overall positions and age categories, with prize notification sent to winners after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
