The Fountains Fun Run 2026 is a multi-terrain running event of just under 2 km. It is part of the larger Fountains 10K event. The run is organised by the Friends of Fountains & Grewelthorpe School PTAs.

Course Details

The course is a single lap, described as undulating. It starts in the Grantley village playground, proceeds along a quiet rural road, and goes through privately owned fields before returning to the starting point. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Entry Information

The entry fee is £5.00. Registration is required for children over 6 running with parents and for adults running alone. Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult, but the accompanying adult does not need to register or pay. There is an entry limit of 150 participants. Entry on the day may be available if the event does not sell out.
