Fountains 10K : event details

The Fountains 10K takes place on 21 June 2026 in Grantley, near Ripon, North Yorkshire. The race distance is 10 Kilometres. Entry fees are £21 for affiliated runners and £23 for unaffiliated runners, both for ages 15 and over. There is an entry limit of 300. A 90-minute time limit applies to complete the course, and walkers are asked not to enter. If the event does not sell out, entry on the day is available for an additional £4. Race headquarters is at Grantley Village Hall. Free car parking is provided.

Course and facilities

The route is a mixed-terrain, undulating 10 km single lap passing quiet country roads, off-road trails and moorland within Nidderdale. The course includes named features called the "Puddle" and the "Hill of Pain". The event is not suitable for wheelchairs. Facilities listed at the race include a water station at about the halfway point, distance markers, toilets, changing facilities and a baggage store. There are marshals on the course, music before and after the race, and a welcoming finishing loop at the school. No showers are provided.
