October 2026

Rowbotham's Round Rotherham is a long distance trail event around South Yorkshire with solo and relay options over 80 km or 50 miles. The undulating route includes about 800 m of climb and is based at the Manvers Waterfront Boat Club.

A Peak District walking event in Buxton on 3 October 2026 with long and short routes through Axe Edge, Goyt Valley and Shining Tor. Organised by High Peak LDWA with checkpoints, refreshments and parking at the school.

A 35 mile circular ultra from Studley Roger that follows the northern Ripon Rowel through trail, woodland and moorland. The route includes four staffed checkpoints, a 10 hour time limit and mandatory kit requirements.

A 15.2 km fell race in the Peak District with 490 m of climb, held at Curbar Primary School on 3 October 2026. Pre-entry is required and proceeds go to Curbar Primary School.

Coastal off road races from Peasholm Park, Scarborough, offering distances from 5 km to marathon along the historic Cinder Track, with water stations about every three miles and a Grim Bling medal for finishers.

A club organised 12 km fell race with about 490 m of ascent around Old Town, Hebden Bridge, including a flagged section through the private Castle Carr estate. Pre-entry is required and strict FRA kit rules apply.

A cross country meeting near Thorpe and Dovedale with a **4 3/4 mile** main race through valleys of the Dove and Manifold and a **1 1/4 mile** Mini Dash for U12s that reaches the Stepping Stones.

A half marathon trail event in Swaledale finishing at The Dales Bike Centre, featuring moorland and grassy paths, fully marked route, stocked aid stations with vegan and gluten free options, and post-race soup and a roll included.
