A 7-mile New Year's Eve fell race from The Little Tea Room in Rivington with a live bagpiper send-off, a pint and pie for finishers, and a post-race prize presentation and party at The Crown Pub in Horwich.

Timed laps along a flat riverside towpath at Hardy Farm with flexible distances and a pick your own medal. A vegetarian aid station runs all day and the first 90 participants receive a microfibre towel.

January 2027

A 7 kilometres single-lap trail race on undulating off-road terrain around Brampton, Cumbria, with an entry limit, a bespoke finisher medal and free event photographs.

A chip timed trail event at Grizedale Forest with fully marked 10K and 6K courses. Dogs are welcome on suitable harnesses, there are no cut offs, and GPX files are available for the routes.

On 3 January 2027 at Gibside National Trust Wild Deer Events holds 5 mile and 10 mile trail runs across over 600 acres of gardens, woodland and countryside. The event is Canicross friendly and includes chip timing and a finisher medal.

Trail races across the grounds of Harewood House offering 5km, 10km and half marathon distances with age minimums. Canicross welcome; live chip timing, finisher medal, merchandise and free parking.

Flat out and back races along the Leeds to Liverpool Canal at Kirkstall. Distances range from 10K to ultramarathon, with feed stations, marshals and Trail Running Association licensing.

Winter canal runs in Saltaire along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal with distances from 10K to Marathon on a mostly flat towpath. Fully marshalled course with drink stations, canal side loos and a bespoke finisher medal.

A 10 km race at Sowerby Bridge Pool that mixes muddy trail terrain with a tarmac return. A two person relay option is offered and entries are limited to 100 participants.

A trail event in Slaithwaite along the Huddersfield narrow gauge canal with options from 5k to marathon. Feed stations, marshals and a 6.5 hour cut off support participants across varied canal and tunnel terrain.

February 2027

A winter ultra on the Pendle Way from Barley, with 45 mile and 30 mile options across waymarked moorland routes. Open to runners and walkers with route maps and GPX files provided.

Test your endurance at the Wadsworth Trog fell race in the South and West Pennines. This 31 km event features over 1100 meters of climbing and requires navigation skills for participants traversing the Hebden Bridge landscape.
