Trail Running calendar near Rusland 2026-2027

Run 24 hours along Offa's Dyke National Trail from Prestatyn on May 9 2026. Solo and team entries offer a continuous coastal to countryside challenge with staffed checkpoints and a finishers medal to mark your achievement.

A 22.5 km fell race around Pendle with 1250 m of ascent across rough moor and steep climbs. The AL category event requires full FRA mandatory kit, uses checkpoint cut offs, and registers at Downham Village Hall.

Take on the classic Fairfield Horseshoe fell race in the Lake District on 9 May 2026, starting and finishing at Rydal Hall. This scenic but demanding 14.5 km course climbs 914 m, offering epic views and a tough fell running challenge.

A one-lap 10K trail race in Yarrow Country Park on 10 May 2026, following woodland and riverside trails with River Yarrow crossings. Chip timing is used and every finisher receives a medal; prizes are awarded in multiple categories.

Trail run near Scorton, Preston offering 10k and 15k courses across tracks and fields up to Nicky Nook with views over Lancashire. Both routes are fully marked; the 10k has one checkpoint and the 15k has two.

Trunce 3 at Oxspring Playing Field on Mon 11 May 2026 offers a scenic but hilly 6.2 km senior race with 190 m of climb in the Peak District. Entry on the day is £3 with a 3 km over 10 junior race included, part of an eight race series.

Take on the classic Latrigg fell race in Keswick, Lake District on 13 May 2026, a short but steep 3 mile climb with great views. Entry is available on the day for a small fee on a fully flagged route for runners aged 13 and up.

Tackle the Caw fell race in the Lake District on Wednesday 13 May 2026, 9.3 km with 550 m climb from Broughton Mills. Day of race entry, great views and a classic fell running challenge for all abilities.

A trail race around the grounds of Constable Burton Hall offering 5km, 10km and a 5km walk across pasture, farm tracks and woodland. The course is marked and includes a stream crossing with a bridge option.
