Join this monthly trail running series at Wirral Country Park featuring an 8 km course. Open to all runners aged 16 and over the event offers both individual race entries and full series rankings for various age categories.

Tackle a classic Pennine fell on Wed 20 May 2026 in Kildwick, starting at the White Lion. This punchy 6 km course with 245 m climb delivers steep ups, junior races and a friendly crowd; pre entry is available and parking is limited.

The Batch Bash is a short, sharp fell race in Shropshire featuring a 4.8 km course with 305m of climb. It takes place on an evening in May. Entries are available in advance or on the day.

A six mile out and back trail race near Rivington on 20 May 2026, organised by Horwich RMI Harriers. Registration is at the Rivington Tea Rooms and published entry fees include an administrative charge and a pay on the day supplement.

A 12 kilometre undulating trail race in Rodley, Leeds on 20 May 2026 featuring canal paths, Woodhall Hills and Calverley Woods with a unique split field where runners travel clockwise and anticlockwise on the same route.

A BS category fell race on 22 May 2026 in Castleton, covering 9.2 km with 427 m ascent along the Great Ridge. Entries open 15 March and close 20 May; minimum age 18 and entry fee is £8.

An evening fell race around Carsington Pasture with views of the Peak District and Carsington Water. The 9.5 km route includes steep hills, rough pasture, footpaths and two road crossings and is held under FRA rules.

A backyard ultra at Hunters Greave with a 4.167 mile loop every hour until one runner remains. The event includes camping, aid stations and a Yorkshire goodie bag, is for ages 18 and over, and is currently full.

A point-to-point trail ultra of 32 miles through East Lancashire and the South Pennines that visits the four Panopticons art installations. The route gains about 4,700 ft and entrants receive a map and GPX file.

Multi distance running festival at Grimsthorpe Castle Estate offering 10 mile day and night races, 40, 70 and 100 mile ultras and a 100 mile team relay. The course is a marked 10 mile loop over trails, tracks and estate roads.

A non-stop 145 mile canal towpath race from Birmingham to London, fully waymarked and held under UK Athletics rules. Open to runners aged 20 and over, most places are allocated via a pre-entry lottery and a 45 hour cut off applies.

A 25.5 km out and back fell event in the Howgill Fells with 1500 m of ascent, three participation categories including a loaded option, waymarked route and manned checkpoints. Minimum age 18 and mandatory safety kit for unloaded entrants.

A traditional fell race of 7 miles (11.2 km) with 400 m ascent across Hutton Roof Crags and Farleton Knott. Navigation and self-sufficiency are required, with three mandatory checkpoints, FRA B Medium rules and a 2 hour 15 minute limit.

A 10km trail race around Nidderdale with start and finish at the Nidderdale Showground. The route crosses woodland and moorland, supports two local charities, and includes age categories, team prizes and spot prizes.

Across the Cynllaith Hillwalk on 23 May 2026 offers 10-mile and 16-mile waymarked routes from Trefonen, across fields, woods and moorland, with checkpoints at Llansilin and Craig Sychtyn and finish on the Offa's Dyke National Trail.
