MacTuffX Blackburn

MacTuffX Blackburn is a functional fitness event scheduled for 23 May 2026 at Witton Park, Blackburn BB2 2TP. Entrants must be 18 years or older on the day. The event is part of the MacTuffX series of fitness races held across the UK.

The event format combines ten Xercises with repeated running segments. Two distance formats are offered: the Classic X format pairs ten Xercises with ten 400 m runs, while the 2X format pairs the same ten Xercises with ten 800 m runs. Weight prescriptions differ by gender and a LITE weight option is available for participants who prefer reduced loads.

Examples of Xercises used in the event include Alternating Snatch (80 reps), Kettle Bell Deadlift (80 reps), Zercher Carry (250 m) and Slamball GTOH (50 reps). A free, annual ANDYSMANCLUB gathering on 23 May 2026 to complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks from Holme Farm Campsite. Rapid Relief Team will provide drinks and a hot breakfast after the first peak; camping and parking are available on site.

A weekend multisport event in Aireville Park with pool-based triathlon swims, countryside bike sportives, junior and senior series races, a relay option, coaching membership and event merchandise.

Choose your own distance on a flat, scenic 5.3km loop along the River Mersey. This timed event gives you 7 hours to run as many laps as you like, from a single lap to an ultra. Every participant earns a finisher's medal.
