Trail Running calendar near Padstow 2026-2027

A 5 mile mixed terrain race around Restormel Castle and Lostwithiel, mostly on trails with over 1000 ft of climbing. It starts and finishes at the Duchy of Cornwall Nursery and is part of the Cornwall MTRS.

A 20 mile trail run or hike in South Devon starting and finishing at Broadsands Beach in Torbay. The route goes inland to Kingswear then along the South West Coast Path with about 4000 ft ascent, three aid stations and a cupless policy.

Trail races at Oxwich Bay with a self-navigated half marathon plus marked 10k and 5k routes. The event is postponed and a new date will be announced.

A coastal endurance format at Perranporth that runs for 12 hours plus one rounds on three to four mile loops. Time targets are revealed at each round and failing a requirement leads to elimination.

Day one of a two day mountain marathon at Westermill Farm, Exford, featuring a 40 km course with 1800 m of climb. Teams of two must pre-enter and the entry fee covers both race days and campsite.

A two-day obstacle weekend at Scorrier House Estate with 10 km, 5 km, 2.5 km and dog-friendly K9 routes, featuring mud, water and designed obstacles; finishers receive a medal and event photos.

Routes along the Grand Western Canal in Tiverton include Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k options on hard packed gravel towpaths. The event is cupless so runners must carry their own water and finishers receive a bespoke medal.

An evening trail event at Haldon Forest Park on 30 October 2026 offering a 2.5 km fun run plus 5 km and 10 km running and canicross options, free race photography and a Halloween 2025 medal for each finisher.

Spooky Challenge Day 1 in Bridestowe on 31 October 2026 is an 8 hour timed event with a *5.3 km* out and back lap on an old disused train line. A TUGG system allows staggered starts and finishers who complete a lap may receive a medal.

Trail races around Roadford Lake organised by Sportiva Events. Distances include 10K and half marathon with canicross options. Entries include chip timing, feed station, medal, refreshments and category prizes.

November 2026

Cornwall’s only all-road marathon, held in Pensilva on 1 November 2026, follows a scenic route across Bodmin Moor and the Fowey Valley. The course has about 2200 ft of elevation and a 6.5 hour cut-off; entries are open.

An evening event at Scorrier House on 1 November 2026 with 2.5 km, 5 km and 10 km races plus canicross; timed by ST App Service with medals, awards, photography and on-site food and music.

Multi distance trail event along the North Devon and Exmoor coast on 7-8 November 2026. Routes follow the South West Coast Path with self navigation, GPS tracking and GPX files available, from 38 km up to 110 miles.

Trail races at Oxwich Bay on 7 November 2026 offer 10K, half marathon, marathon and ultra options across cliff tops, woodland, dunes and beaches. Finishers earn points toward the Endurancelife season leaderboard and must complete online che..

A point to point trail on the Cornish Coast Path with a 26.2 mile marathon and a 35 mile ultra that visits three lighthouses. Expect mud, rocks, dunes and substantial elevation.

A weekend of self navigated trail races along the North Devon and Exmoor coast on 7 and 8 November 2026, with distances from 38 km to 110 miles and GPS tracking provided for all routes.

Three trail distances between Kingswear, Totnes and Dartmouth on waymarked coastal and riverside paths, with aid stations, mandatory navigation kit, and a bespoke finisher medal and cupcake.

A no pressure trail run in Padstow on 14 November 2026 supporting the National Lobster Hatchery, held out and back on the Camel Trail. Distances range from 2.5 km to 10 miles with canicross options and no cut off times.

A ten mile cross country race around Castle Drogo with hilly, muddy terrain, Teign valley views and the steep Hunter's Path. The BM course climbs 1760 ft and includes water stations and event shirts.

A six hour timed event at Dartington Hall with repeat 5 km laps and a canicross option. Mixed terrain, on-site catering and chip timing; proceeds support a new playground.
