Trail Running calendar near Milford 2026-2027

Timed fell run to the highest point in the South Downs at Queen Elizabeth Country Park, with junior and senior races across multiple off road distances.

Mells Mash Up is a roughly 7 mile off road race around the village of Mells near Frome and serves as Race 1 of the Wiltshire Off Road League.

A five mile trail run on 24 September 2026 at The Viper in Mill Green near Ingatestone. Limited to over 18s with a small field; participants must be self sufficient with phone and headtorch and a tail runner is on course.

A looped trail event from Henley offering 50 km, 25 km and 10 km distances with covered rest stops, GPS tracking and on site camping. Finishers receive a medal, a finisher's t shirt and a post event meal.

Two-day Spartan weekend at Pippingford Park near Nutley, East Sussex, with sprint, super, beast, ultra and kids races plus the British OCR Ultra Championship.

The The Hard Yard will take place in New Alresford on Saturday 26 September 2026. You can run 10 miles.

An overnight backyard ultra at The Waggoners in Welwyn Garden City featuring a repeating 4.167 mile trail loop, official timing, drink vouchers, a commemorative pint glass and a pub athletes menu.

Three community races at Harcourt Hill, Oxford on 26 Sep 2026 with 10 km, 3 km and 1 km options. The 10 km is mostly off road and includes a section of the Oxford Greenbelt Way; medals and prizes are provided.

A 7 hour Time Challenge at Northampton Washlands offering flexible distances from 3km to 50km and ultra options. Finishers from 3km receive a themed medal and longer distances earn distance pins.

Trail races at Salisbury Racecourse offer marathon, half marathon and 10 km over undulating downland with woodland and Martin Down turf. GPX routes are provided and finishers receive a medal; top three men and women earn trophies.

Rural chip timed 10k and 3k near Grantchester supporting Maggie’s and Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust with medals, trophies and on site health services.

A 10 mile trail race at Eridge Park on 27 September 2026 featuring steep climbs, muddy sections, GPX route maps, a finisher memento and a free pint and cake at the finish.

Enjoy a flat riverside run along the Thames with a chocolate themed aid station. Choose your own distance from 5km to ultra marathon within a flexible seven hour time limit.

A community running event in Manuden on 27 September 2026 with 10k, 5k and 1k races, on-road starts then off-road bridleways, water stations and medals for finishers. Funds raised support Sands, St Clare Hospice and village organisations.

Amport Trail Run on 27 September 2026 offers multi terrain 5k, 10k, 10 mile and canicross routes from Amport Cricket Club. Entry is pre-registration only and the courses feature marshals, first aid and on-course refreshments.

A multi terrain trail run along the Thames near Marlow offering a Half Marathon, 10k and a 1k Little Sprinters race. The event features chip timing, a finisher medal, on route water stations and an event village with facilities.

A 5 km handicap trail run around Firle on 27 September 2026 with a fully marked course, prizes, and tea and cake at the village hall; entry is limited to 50 runners.

A timed lap based run at Buchan Country Park in Crawley on 27 September 2026 with distances from 5 km up to ultra and flexible start options. Entry choices include a medal or a lower cost no medal option.
