The Mells Scenic Race is a 7-mile running event held in the historic village of Mells, near Frome. The course features a mix of footpaths, bridleways, cycle paths, and quiet country lanes, offering a scenic route with some hills. The 2025 race follows the 2023 route, including a stretch along the cycle path from Great Elm to Mells, avoiding Barrow Hill.

The race starts and finishes at Mells Cricket Club, where parking and facilities are available. The course is marked and marshalled, with a few muddy and slippery sections. Dogs are not permitted, and headphones are allowed with caution on road parts.
