Trail Running calendar near Marlow 2026-2027

A 5k night trail at Dunkertons Park in Cheltenham where runners use head torches to light the course. Open to ages 16 and over, with prizes for top three men and women and on-site refreshments and safety rules.

Beachy Head Marathon Weekend runs multiple trail distances from a 10k to an ultra near Bede's Prep School in BN20 7XL on 24/10/2026. Runners comment on clear signage, friendly marshals, stocked aid stations and hilly coastal terrain.

A point to point 47 miles ultra along the Thames Path and Ridgeway from Iffley to Henley-on-Thames, mostly on trails, with five aid stations, mandatory kit checks, baggage transfer and live GPS tracking.

Scenic 30 mile ultra along the River Stort and Lee navigation, run as a 15 mile out and back on mostly grassy trail and graded footpaths. Trophies for the first three men and the first three women and medals for all finishers.

Wight Lines is a mixed-terrain coastal run at Milford on Sea with views of the Isle of Wight and Sturt Pond Nature Reserve. Runners choose distances from 5K to ultra, complete 5.3 km laps, and receive a medal for one lap or more.

Pumpkin Plod at Ferry Meadows is a multi-hour lap event on a 5.3 km mixed-surface loop where runners complete as many laps as they choose. Aid is provided each lap and finishers receive an event medal.

Experience a timed anti clockwise loop around Canvey Island featuring sea wall paths and coastal trails. This self supported adventure includes a unique pub check point and follows the scenic King Charles III England Coast Path.

ATW Grafham 5K and 10K take place at Grafham Water Visitors Centre on 25 October 2026. Entry fees range from £24 to £33, the races run alongside the ATW Grafham Duathlon, and camping is available the night before.

Looped races at Chalfont Park and Chalfont St Peter let runners choose distances from a 7K loop to multi lap ultras. Aid station, clear course marking, crew support and medical cover are provided.

A Halloween-themed night run in Irchester Country Park with a 5k race and a 2k family run. Entry includes a finisher medal, free event photos and a bag of Halloween sweets.

A five mile night trail run at The Plough and Harrow in Litlington on 30 October 2026, self navigated via GPX with a tail runner, timed results, Halloween fancy dress prizes and an age limit of 18 plus.

Single-loop 50K trail race in the Chilterns starting and finishing at Berkhamsted Cricket Club on 31 October 2026. The route uses The Ridgeway and Chiltern Way, has three aid stations, full marking and a nine hour time limit.

Experience a festive 6.66 km Halloween trail run starting and finishing at a local brewery in Chelmsford. Participants enjoy a costume focused event with medals and drinks for finishers in a social atmosphere.

A night trail event in Alice Holt Forest on 31 October 2026 using 5 km laps; choose one, two or three laps. Forest tracks, one outpost per lap, reusable cup policy and headphones are not permitted.

An evening Halloween run at Hogmoor with kids races, 6.6K and 10K laps plus a 6.6K canicross. The course has sandy hills, mud and shallow water and races run after dark so a torch is advised.

A chip timed beach run on West Wittering Beach with sea and downs views. Distances of 15.3 km, 10 km and 5 km, on-course water stations, finisher medal and dog friendly options.

Forest trail races at Wendover Woods on 1 November 2026 include marathon, half marathon, 10k and a junior run over a multi-lap 10 km course with varied, hilly terrain and on-site facilities for spectators.

A 10 mile off-road trail run in Stonehouse on 1 November 2026, starting with an uphill mile on Horsemarling Lane and continuing over undulating, muddy trails. Canicross runners are welcome and a 2 hour 30 minute cutoff applies.

Petzl Tunnel Vision in Market Harborough is a pair of 5 mile out and back runs on 5 and 6 November 2026, one at night and one at dawn. The route includes the 422 m Oxendon Tunnel with mood lighting and requires a headtorch.

Two days of marathon and half marathon races around Caldecotte Lake in Milton Keynes on 6 and 7 November 2026, with multi-lap clockwise courses, on-course water and toilets, enforced time limits, and bespoke finisher medals.
