Chichester Harbour Trail Run
The event follows coastal paths and quiet trails around the Chidham Peninsula in Chichester Harbour, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The route offers panoramas toward Bosham Hoe, Itchenor, East Head and the South Downs. At low tide a short foreshore crossing is included on the course.
Two measured routes are available, both with modest overall elevation gain and largely flat terrain that suits early-season running. The course is fully signed, with pink arrows and pink tape; hazards and road junctions are marked with caution signs.
- 21.3k Half Marathon (approx. 65 m elevation)
- 16.1k Medium route (approx. 50 m elevation)
The event is chip timed and provides a high-quality metal finisher medal, a refreshing drink, finisher goodies and a personalised certificate. On-course provisions include water stations, on-course refreshments, course marshals, first aid cover and an event photographer. Organisers operate a plastic-free policy at water stations; participants are asked to bring a reusable cup or bottle. Runners collect bib numbers at registration and must display bibs on the front while on course. Canicross participants may run with one dog per runner and are advised to bring water, poo bags and an appropriate lead. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
