Dirt Run - Round 2 (Brigstock Country Park)

Dirt Run Round 2 is a single-lap trail event held at Brigstock Country Park in Northamptonshire. The course runs through mixed terrain of trails, paths and roads and offers views that include the Elizabethan lodge Lyveden New Bield and surrounding gardens and meadows.

Distances available for Round 2:

  • 7.5 km single lap
  • 15 km single lap

The route is waymarked and supported by marshals. Parking is available at the country park and in the nearby village opposite, with a footbridge providing access to the park; some parking is paid and may be weather dependent. There are toilet facilities in the country park. Trail shoes are recommended for the terrain.

A custom finisher medal is provided, with a separate design for each round and ribbon colours indicating distance. For small items, registration provides boxes that will be relocated to the finish; this area is unsecured and items are left at the owner’s risk. It is possible to change distance on the day by paying any applicable fee and collecting an alternative race number. A water station is provided for the longer distance.
