Course and facilities

Both rounds use mixed terrain including trails, footpaths and some road sections, and feature a notable hill near the start at Irchester. The Round 2 route passes close to Lyveden New Bield, a partially completed Elizabethan lodge with surrounding gardens and meadows. Courses are marked and marshalled. Water is provided close to the start/finish for 10 km and 15 km runners. There are toilet facilities in the country parks and paid parking on site; availability and charges may vary. All finishers receive a custom medal, with a different design for each round and ribbon colours that denote distance. Trail shoes are recommended. Small-item storage is available in registration boxes but the area is unsecured and large bags cannot be accommodated. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
