Irchester Spooktacular
Irchester Spooktacular is a Halloween-themed night-time running event held at Irchester Country Park. The event offers two marked and marshaled routes on established woodland trails and tracks, with marshals in themed costume. Fancy dress is encouraged and all finishers receive an event medal.

Entry fees are listed for each distance and entry includes a bag of Halloween-themed chocolates and free event photos. The minimum age on race day is 11 years for the 5k and 4 years for the 2k. Children under 11 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Entries and transfers close seven days before the event.
Both runs start on the Royal Meadow and finish on the Little Meadow within Irchester Country Park. Parking is available at the park and parking fees apply. The course surface is mostly hard packed track, suitable for road or trail shoes. Because the event takes place at night, participants are advised to bring a head torch or small handheld torch.
Event support includes professional first aid at the start and finish with access across the park, plus Race Harborough volunteers on the course. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 5k. The event also offers attendees the opportunity to donate to local foodbanks supported by the organiser.
