Grafham Water Trail Races
Grafham Water Trail Races are trail events held at Marlow Park, Grafham Water, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The event offers two measured distances:
- 10k
- Half Marathon
Both routes are fully marked and marshalled and follow trails and sections of the Three Shires Way. The 10k returns to the outward track while the half marathon includes a large lap of the reservoir. GPX files are available for both routes. The courses use footpaths across farmland and running with dogs is not permitted.
Race Harborough provides on-course support including professional first aid at the start and finish with access to runners on course, and volunteers supplying hydration: three water stations on the half marathon and one on the 10k, with water also available at the finish. No in-ear headphones are allowed; bone conduction headphones that do not sit in the ears are permitted.
Entries are open and priced at £25 for the 10k and £30 for the half marathon. Minimum ages on race day are 16 for the 10k and 17 for the half marathon. The race cut off time is four hours for both races. Entries and transfers close seven days before the event. Parking is available at Marlow Park and parking fees apply.
Mandatory items include a fully charged mobile phone and a personal cup, as the races are cupless. Trail shoes or shoes with grip are advisable. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in both races and all finishers will receive a race medal. Free digital race photos will be available after the event. Selected race merchandise can be pre-ordered up to three weeks before the event; no merchandise will be sold on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
