Flat canal side out and back runs from Granary Wharf along the Leeds Liverpool Canal, offered in 5 km, 10 km and half marathon distances. Routes are traffic free, marshalled, with regular feed stations and finisher medals.

A community charity relay at Haverthwaite Station near Ulverston with mixed teams formed on the day and an entry fee of £3 per person. Parking is at the station and a free train service is provided for runners and spectators.

Beyond Newcastle runs from the Quayside in Newcastle offering fully supported 55 km and 25 km trail routes that follow the Tyne and Derwent rivers with marshals, feed stations and live chip timing. Finishers receive a medal and merchandise.

Forest canicross in Dodd Wood with fully marked routes and views across Bassenthwaite Lake. Choose an 8K with 370 m ascent or a 5K with 210 m ascent. Chip timed and harnesses available to borrow.
