Trail Running calendar near Leeds 2026-2027

Manchester Backyard Ultra at Giants Seat Scout Camp is a timed-loop endurance event on 13 June 2026. Runners repeat a roughly 6.7 km loop each hour until one runner remains; a torch is required for night laps.

A timed, multi-lap event at Chorlton Water Park using a 5.3 km out and back course along the River Mersey. Runners can cover one lap up to an ultra within a seven hour limit and all participants receive a finishers' medal.

Trail races from Chop Gate with three distances : Marathon (28), Half 16.5 and 10k 9.5. Entries limited to 330, mandatory safety kit is required and competitors must print route maps and navigate themselves.

A fell running event in Edale featuring a 7.6 km course with 402 m of ascent and a finish on the Edale Country Day Field. Entry includes admission to Edale Country Day and entries close on Friday 12 June.

A 9.7 km fell race near Rochdale on 14 June 2026 with 396 m of climb, registration at Norden Bowling Club and a start 500 metres away. Pre entry and on the day entry are available and team results count the first three finishers.

A family-friendly low-level 5k around Stenkrith Park and the Viaduct Walk near Kirkby Stephen, part of the YOMP weekend. Dogs on a lead welcome; entry £5 and under-5s free, with entries available on the day.

MacTuffX Manchester on 14 June 2026 in Eccles is a functional fitness race combining ten repeated exercise stations with running, offered in solo, doubles and relay formats across two distance options; entrants must be 18 or over.
