A mainly trail 5k along the Jurassic Coast from Peveril Point via Durlston Country Park to Anvil Point Lighthouse and back into Swanage. The race is part of Swanage Lifeboat Week and the Purbeck Trail Series.

Inflatable 5K in Exeter on 15 August 2026 offers inflatable obstacle laps of 2.5k with options of 2.5k, 5k, 10k and 15k. The event includes music zones, finisher medals, on-course hydration and family and group ticket discounts.

Trail running at Fyne Court Estate in the Quantock Hills AONB with 5 km and 10 km options, using parkland and woodland trails. The 10 km is two laps of the 5 km circuit and medals are optional to reduce waste.

A Dartmoor fell race on 15 August 2026 with an approx 10 km senior course and 450 m climb, plus junior races from about 1.5 km to 5.5 km. The route is marked for erosion control and prizes are awarded across age categories.

An evening trail event near Dorchester with 5k and 10k routes through sunflower fields and bridleways. Routes include an aid station and finishers receive medals, while the event supports a local hospital charity.

A mountain traverse near Pontypool covering 9.8 km with 291 m of climb. Entry is available on the day or online and there are separate junior races and team entries.

A Bath running event on 16 August 2026 featuring two long, lit railway tunnels and a programme from 500 m colourburst to ultramarathon and relays; proceeds support Sustrans.

On 16 August 2026 South West Spartan stages Sprint, Super and Beast obstacle races at Badminton Park in South Gloucestershire, with mixed terrain across fields and woodland and a one day trifecta option.

A timed, flexible run along a 3.28 mile out and back route beside the Stroud Waterways canal. Runners choose distances from 5 km up to ultra and may complete as many laps as they wish within a seven hour limit.

Join the Crook Peak Cake Race in Axbridge on Wed 19 Aug 2026 for a spirited 3 mile fell challenge across stunning Somerset hills, finishing with cake and community cheer. On the day entry available for runners aged 14 and up.

Join the Gt. Links Tor Flyer on Dartmoor for a challenging 7.5 km fell race with 388 m of climb, finishing at the Fox & Hounds in Lydford. Open to seniors and juniors with pre and on the day entry.

A summer ultra on the Community Forest Path near Bristol with a 45 mile full loop and a 30 mile partial loop. The event features four checkpoints, bespoke finisher medals, timed tracking from 2026 and a mandatory kit list.

A 7 hour time challenge at Dare Valley Country Park where runners pick their distance from a 3km minimum. The event features a cupcake magnet medal, a baking competition, aid tables with vegan options, and free parking.

A children's fun run organised by Afan Valley Swimming Club on 23 August, covering approximately 1 mile of mixed grass and tarmac with uphill and downhill sections. Entry includes a finishers' medal and a bag of sweets.

An eight mile urban to trail loop in Bournemouth on 23 August 2026, running from Bournemouth Square into Meyrick Park. The fully signed course has one aid station, chip timing and a post-race gathering at PATCH.

A 32 mile coastal walk or run from Weymouth to Swanage with steep climbs, a 12 hour limit, checkpoint refreshments, limited entry and optional coach transfer from Swanage to Weymouth for an extra fee.

An early evening trail run at Newnham Park near Plymouth with 8 mile two lap and 4 mile one lap courses; canicross options are available and proceeds support Bowel Cancer West.
