Two Tunnels Races

Bath Two Tunnels Railway Races - August 2026

The event offers multiple race distances around Bath on a route that includes two disused railway tunnels and sections along the Kennet and Avon Canal and through the city. The organiser is Relish Running Races and the venue is Brickfields Park, Twerton, Bath BA2 1LX.

Available distances include:

• 50 km - ultramarathon distance, tarmac terrain, five 10 km laps
• Marathon - route through tunnels, canal and city, two laps
• Half Marathon - route through tunnels, canal and city, one lap
• 10 km - flat tarmac course, officially measured, 2 percent gradient
• 5 km - out and back via the 408 m Devonshire Tunnel into Lyncombe Vale
• 2 km Fun Run
• 500 m Colourburst Run

Race services and logistics described for participants include timed results, finisher medals, prizes for top finishers, drink stations and checkpoints, fresh fruit and snacks, on site first aid, on site toilets, coffee and food vans, and a bag drop. Note that there are no drink stations on the 5 km course, the 10 km has one aid station, and the half marathon has three to five checkpoints.
