Trail Running calendar near Haworth 2025-2026

Join Trails and Tails at Field House Farm for scenic 4 and 8 mile trail runs through gentle East Yorkshire countryside, with Canicross entries welcome. Chip timing, medals, prizes and post run food make it a great day for runners and dogs.

Take on the Badger Challenge at Beacon Hill, a six hour off road loop where you can run as many 3.3 mile laps as you like to reach half marathon or marathon distances. Dogs, canicross and rucking welcome, with a charity tree token option.

Tackle the South Pennine 24 on 28 Feb 2026 at Dovestone, a fully supported 24 mile route across wild moorland and scenic Dark Peak trails. Enjoy checkpoints, hot soup at the finish and a friendly atmosphere with limited places.

Tackle the Chester Ultra 50, a 50 mile trail race around Chester weaving through Helsby Hill, Delamere Forest and the Sandstone Trail. Expect varied terrain, live GPS tracking and a supported course with seven checkpoints.

Tackle the Tibthorpe Loop trail half marathon, a rolling circular course with about 1,200 ft of climb and on route support. Limited to 300 runners, it includes chip timing, a recycled wildflower medal and a tree planted for each finisher.

Join the Lakeland Paws Whinlatter Tails Night Run through Whinlatter Forest on 28 February 2026 for a runnable, undulating 5K or 10K in the dark. Head torches are required and dogs are welcome with individual starts to give pups space.

Take on Cannock Chase Forest on 28 Feb 2026 with a half marathon or 10K across marked pine and heathland trails, featuring steep climbs, fast descents and muddy technical terrain. Dog friendly with canicross places and finisher medals.

Join the Saint Michael's Harrogate 10K & 5K on 1 March 2026 for a scenic trail run supporting North Yorkshire Hospice Care. Limited to 1,000 places, family friendly 5K entries are free for ages 6 to 15 when accompanied by an adult.
