Trail Running calendar near Escot Park 2026-2027

The final race of the 2026 RTT Series takes place in Afan Forest with separate 5 km and 10 km routes from Bryn Bettws Lodge. The event features chip timing, finisher medals, marked and marshalled routes and water stations.

A trail running event on 29 November 2026 at Charborough Estate through dense Bere Wood, with 10 km, 21 km and a two person relay across technical, marked trails. Facilities include one aid station, toilets and medical support.

A lap based road event at Rhydycar, Merthyr Tydfil, on a 5.3 km AUKCM certified tarmac circuit along the Taff Trail. Runners choose how many laps to complete within a seven hour limit and can opt for a no medal entry.

Coastal 10 Mile and 10K runs from Hengistbury Head along Bournemouth seafront and Boscombe Pier, with chip timing, water stations and a finisher's medal. Largely flat, traffic-free routes with coastal views.

Trail event in Swanage on 5 Dec 2026 offering 10K, half, marathon and ultra routes along the Jurassic Coast Path. Part of the Endurancelife 26-27 season with leaderboard points awarded to finishers.

A Christmas themed Santa run at Siblyback Lake on 5 December 2026 with canicross options, three distances, medals for all and awards for top finishers. Timed results use the ST App Service and free race photography is provided.

A winter trail running festival at Holmesly Campsite in the New Forest on 6 December 2026, offering 15 km, 30 km, marathon and 50 km one lap off‑road courses with marked routes, bag drop and mandatory kit requirements.

A festive trail running event at Moors Valley Country Park on 6 December 2026, offering a 2 km fun run for children plus 5 km and 10 km trail races; on-site parking is available for £5 and entry fees range from £12 to £26.

A festive *10k* trail race in Cockington Country Park near Torquay with hilly, winding trails and countryside views. Finishers receive a bespoke metal medal and a choice of Christmas cake, mince pie or yule log.

A trail half marathon near Bridgend on 19 December 2026 combining an 8-mile mixed-terrain section with about 5 extra muddy miles, limited to 70 entrants, with a bespoke medal, refreshments and a prize for Christmas fancy dress.

A hill race on the Skirrid near Llanvihangel Crucorny on 19 December 2026, covering 5.7 km with 450 m ascent. The route runs from a field start up to the ridge and summit, then down the north west ridge, with roadside parking and a kit dump..

A Christmas Carol bobble hat run at Dare Valley Country Park offering distances from 3 km to ultra and a 7 hour Time Challenge; finishers receive a themed medal, bobble hat and goody bag, with aid stations, toilets and free parking on site.

A level 19 km trail race along a converted railway through the River Stour valley. The family oriented event has marked route, aid stations, a canicross option and prebooked transport between start and finish.

A free, untimed community run along the canal between Bridgwater and Taunton with 14 and 7.5 mile options. Registration is required and basic medical cover will be available.

A roughly 12.5 ish mile winter road and trail event near Warminster that often features hilly and wintry conditions. The race supports the Royal British Legion and offers finisher medals, veteran prizes and on-course water and first aid.

A community fun run in Salcombe on New Year’s Eve that loops around Snape’s Point over roughly 7 km. The event supports Salcombe RNLI and shows an entry price of £10.

A trail 10 km race in Sidmouth on 31 December 2026 following coastal paths and a loop around Mutters Moor, finishing at Connaught Gardens. Age limit 18 plus, trail shoes mandatory, two hour cutoff and medals for all finishers.

An eight hour timed road event at Capel Lane, Exmouth on Friday 1 January 2027 with flexible start under a Turn Up Get Going format. Each lap is 5.3 km on a tarmac out and back along an old disused train line.
