The Doomsday Run - Charborough Estate

The Doomsday Run takes place on 29 November 2026 at Charborough Estate, Bere Wood, Bere Regis. The event uses a private ancient woodland of roughly 600 acres where access has been granted for this trail event. GPX files will be issued to participants before the event.

Distances:

  • 10 km single loop
  • 21 km double loop (half marathon)
  • Half marathon relay two runners, each completing a single loop

The route is described as raw and varied. Runners should expect dense woodland, low light, coarse underfoot, roots, ruts and seasonal mud. Surfaces include woodland tracks and uneven, rooted sections. The course will be marked and there are no road crossings or gates on the route.

Race HQ is a covered base with space to gather, toilets, hot and cold drinks, first aid and feminine hygiene products. There is one aid station on the loop and medical support will be available on route. Toilets are provided at the start and finish area.

A small mandatory kit list is enforced; required items include a mobile phone and a reusable cup. Trail shoes are recommended for running in dense forest. The minimum age is 18. Entries are non refundable; optional refund cover is managed by a third party. Transfers and name changes follow the event's formal ticketing process.
