Bournemouth Coastal TEN is a seaside running race held at Hengistbury Head, Bournemouth, Dorset. Runners choose between a scenic 10-mile or 10km coastal route along Bournemouth’s seafront, with views of Boscombe Pier, the Isle of Wight and The Needles to the east, and Old Harry Rocks along the Jurassic Coast to the west. The largely flat, traffic-free courses are designed for speed and enjoyment amid fresh sea air. The event features chip timing, well-marshalled coastal routes, a unique finisher’s medal, water stations, and post-race refreshments, all delivered within a supportive, inclusive atmosphere.
