Bournemouth Coastal TEN - Bournemouth, Dorset

The Bournemouth Coastal TEN offers two measured coastal race distances that start and finish at Hengistbury Head nature reserve in Bournemouth. The venue provides facilities and hard-standing parking close to the event centre.

Both routes run along Bournemouth's seafront paths and include a section along Boscombe Pier with uninterrupted sea views. On clear days the course provides views of the Isle of Wight, The Needles, and Old Harry Rocks on the Jurassic Coast. The route is largely flat and traffic-free, with smooth off-road paths and limited climbing.

Distances:

  • 10 Mile (10.0mi) - approx 102 m elevation gain
  • 10K (10.0 km) - approx 50 m elevation gain

Entries include chip timing, a finisher's medal, water stations, post-race refreshments, a personalised certificate, and on-course first aid. The route is well marshalled and clearly signed using pink arrows and pink tape; hazards and road junctions are marked with caution signs. The event operates a plastic-free policy and asks participants to bring a reusable cup or bottle. Spectators are welcome. On arrival, participants collect their bib number at registration and should bring their QR code for collection. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
