The Bournemouth Coastal TEN is scheduled for Saturday 5th December 2026 and is organised by Run Rebel. The event offers two distances:

The start is at Hengistbury Head nature reserve in Bournemouth. The reserve has facilities and hard-standing parking.

Course and race facilities

Both routes follow Bournemouth seafront paths and include a section along Boscombe Pier with uninterrupted sea views. On clear days runners may see the Isle of Wight, The Needles, and Old Harry Rocks. The route is described as largely flat and traffic-free. The race is professionally chip timed and is marshalled along the course. Water stations and post-race refreshments are provided, and finishers receive a medal. Choose a half marathon or 10K through Moors Valley woodlands with muddy trails, steep climbs and chances to spot deer and birds of prey. Finishers get a wooden medal and the course is fully supported and timed.

Starburster

Ashley Heath

Starburster is a twilight 5 or 10 mile run through Hurn Forest on 31 January, with out and back laps on firm forest trails beneath sunset skies. Head torches are required and 20% of entry fees support Forestry England for trail care.
