The Bournemouth Coastal TEN is a seaside running event at Hengistbury Head, Bournemouth, Dorset (BH6 4EW). The race is scheduled for Saturday 21 November 2026. Two distances are offered:

The venue at Hengistbury Head has hard-standing parking and onsite facilities. Dogs are not allowed. Spectators are welcome.

Course and services

Both routes follow seafront paths and include a section along Boscombe Pier. The course is described as largely flat and traffic-free. On clear days the route can offer views of the Isle of Wight, The Needles, and Old Harry Rocks. Elevation figures are given as about +102 m for the 10mi route and +50 m for the 10km route.

Entries include chip timing, a finisher medal, water stations, post-race refreshments, a personalised certificate, and first aid on course. The event is plastic free and participants are asked to bring a reusable cup or bottle for use at water stations. Course signage uses pink arrows and pink tape, with hazards and road junctions marked with caution signs. Registration details and bib collection occur at the event. Trail runs nearby

Take on the New Forest Stinger, a 10 mile off road trail around Ocknell Campsite in Fritham. Enjoy club camaraderie, a finisher medal, goody bag and age trophies in a limited field of trail fans.

Night orienteering in Brockenhurst: a 60 minute score event in the New Forest. Visit as many controls as you can for points using SIAC timing and waterproof maps, and bring high visibility clothing and lights for after dark navigation.

Take on the Jurassic Coast from Swanage on 6 Dec 2025 with distances from a coastal 10K to a full marathon or ultra. Rugged trails, big climbs and fully marked timed courses promise a scenic and satisfying challenge.
