Dorset Coastal Trail Run : Swanage, 5 Dec 2026

The event stages four trail distances along the Jurassic Coast Path based out of Swanage. The Jurassic Coast Path holds World Heritage status and the courses follow coastal and hillside terrain with grass and trail surfaces. Terrain is described as extreme terrain.

Distances offered:

  • 10K - 6.5 miles, ascent 774 ft
  • Half Marathon - 13.2 miles, ascent 1719 ft
  • Marathon - 26.2 miles, ascent 3736 ft
  • Ultra - 32.3 miles, ascent 4416 ft

Runners who complete any distance at this event will be awarded points and listed in the Endurancelife 26-27 Season Leaderboard. Points are awarded based on performance and contribute to an overall season score. The event is part of the Endurancelife 2026-2027 trail running season, which runs from September 2026 until July 2027.

The organiser requires online check-in approximately two weeks before the event. The check-in process includes verifying personal details, providing an ICE contact, and watching a mandatory event safety video. Trail runs nearby

A family friendly off-road event near Damerham with 5 km and 10 km runs plus a children's colour run; medals, category trophies, refreshments and on-site parking are provided.

An evening trail event on 4 July 2026 based at the Fox Inn in Ansty, Dorchester with a 10k course and 220 m of elevation, venue music and food, accommodation options, finisher medals and trophies to third place male and female.

Trail races of 5, 10 and 15 miles take place in Moors Valley Country Park in Dorset on 5 July 2026. The event includes chip timing, feed stations, medical support and a bespoke finisher medal.

A 50 km trail race from Studland Beach along the Purbeck Way that passes coastal landmarks like Old Harry Rocks and Corfe Castle. One runner is appointed the Ferry who starts at the back and competitors aim to finish ahead of them.
